Fire Suppression Systems in Texas

Protect Your Property With a Fire Suppression System

A gas fire suppression system in your restaurant or other business is an essential life safety component for those that are at an increased risk of exposure to airborne pollutants and fire hazards. These systems protect your company’s employees, patrons, and property by utilizing advanced clean agents. These agents are an alternative to standard fire suppression systems, designed to minimize damage and reduce harmful byproducts normally caused by other fire suppression systems.

Find The Right System For Your Environment

FireTron’s trusted team will design and install a commercial fire sprinkler system that is perfectly suited to fit your company’s needs and the specifications of your facility. We install a wide range of sprinkler systems during both new construction or modification projects. Our expert team of fire safety engineers will consult with you and help determine the needs of your space in order to keep your business safe.

No matter your industry, location, or facility size, FireTron ensures your fire sprinkler system is installed right, serviced proactively, and monitored 24/7 for maximum safety and peace of mind.

Types of Fire Suppression Systems We Service

Whether you need to protect an office building, industrial site, commercial kitchen, server center, or any other type of commercial facility, FireTron ensures you get the right sprinkler system for the job.

Project Type FireTron Solution Components
Wet Pipe Sprinkler Systems This is the most common type of fire sprinkler system. These fire sprinkler systems are good for office buildings, schools, high rise buildings and high hazard storage buildings. The sprinklers activate when the fire sprinkler element reaches a predefined temperature. These systems need to be maintained at a temperature above 40 degrees to prevent freezing.
Dry Pipe Sprinkler Systems The pipes in these fire sprinkler systems are filled with nitrogen or pressurized air. The air pressure holds a dry pipe valve to prevent water from getting into the system. The dry pipe fire sprinklers activate when they detect a sudden temperature increase which causes the air pressure to escape releasing the dry pipe valve to discharge water. These systems are great for unheated canopies, parking garages, and attic spaces.
Pre-Action Fire Sprinkler Systems Similar to dry pipe, pre-action fire sprinkler systems contact pressurized air or nitrogen. These systems activate in two steps. First, a heat or smoke detector must detect a fire to send a signal to open the pre-action valve. Then the fire sprinkler head must detect an increased temperature – after this is detected, the fire sprinkler opens to pour water onto the fire. These systems are ideal to prevent accidental system activations for museums, server rooms, libraries and similar environments.
Deluge Fire System This system has an open style of fire sprinkler to immediately discharge water. Unlike the first three systems, the sprinkler head always remains open and they activate simultaneously. Once a heat or smoke detector senses smoke or heat, the deluge valve opens and sends water to all the fire sprinklers. This system is primarily used for high hazard facilities that need immediate support with highly combustible materials. Facilities like aircraft hangars, industrial plants, and manufacturing factories.

TX Fire Suppression FAQ

How much does a fire suppression system cost in Texas?
Every job is different, so we provide custom quotes for all services. Pricing varies based on project size, building type, system complexity, and compliance requirements. Contact us to get a custom quote on your fire suppression system.
When are fire sprinkler systems required in commercial building?
Fire sprinkler and alarm systems are required in commercial buildings based on factors like building size, occupancy type, and local code enforcement. Fire alarms are generally mandated in buildings that serve large groups of people (such as schools, offices, and assembly spaces) or those with sleeping quarters (like hotels or healthcare facilities). They are also required in high-rise buildings and any structure where the occupant load or square footage exceeds thresholds defined in the International Building Code (IBC) or local ordinances. Ultimately, while NFPA and IBC standards provide the baseline, final requirements are determined by the local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), which can vary by city or county.
Can you inspect and maintain suppression systems installed by other companies?
Of course! FireTron can service, inspect, and monitor fire safety systems that were originally installed by other contractors. Whether you need maintenance on an existing fire alarm, sprinkler, or suppression system, or you're looking to switch service providers, our certified technicians are trained to work with most major brands and system types. We’ll evaluate your current setup, ensure it meets code, and provide a seamless transition with minimal disruption to your operations.
How long does it take to design and install a fire suppression system?
Most projects take 4–12 weeks from design approval to final testing. Smaller systems can be completed in as little as 3–4 weeks, while large or high-rise projects may run 3–6 months. We work around your schedule to minimize disruption.
Where can you provide fire suppression services?
We install and service fire safety systems throughout Texas from six convenient locations in Houston, Dallas, Austin, Corpus Christi, College Station, and Victoria.
